another delicious meal, and some unexpected cross cultural exchange

While very pregnant, India takes us to eat some tea with rice (heavenly) at Ohitsuzen Tanbo in Omotesando. The portions are gigantic for Japan, and the rice is something else. India also introduces some pals over dinner, and it’s nice to have a friends-at-dinner-together vibe in a foreign place. We had to ask about why Japanese like to pose for photos with the peace sign, and were told that the girls now flank their heads with dual peace signs (see Davidson) to make their faces appear slimmer. Wow, it works—Lara Stone better watch out! In the spirit of cultural exchange, Davidson works with Yoko on a Back in the Days pose.
