favourite food memories
Spent most of March in Singapore. Highlight numero uno was the food. A taste: 1. Soto ayam porridge, Bali Dream Villas. 2. Mutant banana at Tiong Bahru market. 3. Sticky Date Pudding slathered in toffee at PS Cafe. 4. Davidson and Neil try to read Chinese signs at the Holland Road zhi char stall. 5. Freshly squeezed lime juice is everywhere. 6. Decent-enough babi guling in Bali.
last family dinner before we take off to tokyo
Davidson has discovered his inner teochew, so we humour him and go to Liang Kee for good, clean flavours. Bye to the cuties who keep growing bigger, and to the family I’ll miss.

we say happy birthday to a very young-looking mum, may we all look this good in a couple years
The nice folks at Le Bon Marche were nice enough to bake a cake at short notice.
cute kid watches roti prata in progress
Linda, Davidson and I were picking up some food at Newton Circus on the way to Lorraine’s place. While waiting for Indian Mee Goreng, we collectively oohed at the sight of this kid standing at the same stall for 10 minutes. Cute, and the food was good.
